I have been supporting Promixx since 2020, working as a consultant alongside their world class in-house design team. Promixx has been a rewarding client to collaborate with, driven by a clear vision for innovative new product development which results in product solutions that are leaders in the market segment.
I was briefed to develop concept designs for a new shaker bottle, which were developed over several stages of design and feedback. Promixx then took the project in-house for final DFM and manufacturing liaison. The Pursuit bottle has been expanded into stainless steel and insulated product variations.
The bottle has had a notable commercial impact and can be found in many high street retailers across Europe and the US, including Whole Foods Market, Target and Walmart. The bottle consistently sits in the top 10 Amazon listing for best selling sports supplement bottles.

Opportunity
Promixx identified that existing nutrition bottles mixed shakes with a loose wire ball create micro plastic abrasion that ends up in the drink. Existing shakers were also poor in quality with little aesthetic development, creating an opportunity to create something worthy of being kept as a lifestyle accessory.
Solution
Following these insights, the updated bottle design features a snap in place, easy to clean agitator which creates controlled radial flow for smooth, clump free shakes. The bottle also features premium rubber seals and sustainable Ecozen plastic. The result is a successful product design that has sold millions of units globally.
