Flower Snippers
Industrial Design
2022

I was briefed by the in-house new product development team at Kent & Stowe to support the brand by developing a new ergonomic set of flower snippers styled for the Kent & Stowe brand. The pre-existing snippers the brand sold were tired and outdated, and the same product was used by other brands.

I designed the new product from the ground up around K&S's existing hub mechanism, to fit with Kent & Stowe's product lineup as an ownable asset for the brand. I began with sketches and followed with CAD models, prototypes and Design For Manufacture drawings.

The snips handles are cast in aluminium and over-moulded with micro grip textured silicone rubber for comfort grips.

The product has received mostly highly rated reviews and is sold online and in stores nationwide.
